– Kurt Angle has confirmed that his wife had a baby girl. Kurt tweeted the following on Monday night. 18 Hours At the Hospital. Sophia Laine Angle Was Born. 7lbs12oz. 20inches. I’m a Proud Daddy if 4 beautiful Kids. Blessed We noted on New Year’s Day that TNA President Dixie Carter posted to her Twitter account that Kurt and his wife Giovanna’s daughter was born. Congrats to @RealKurtAngle & Giovanna on the birth of their daughter tonight at 9:40et. Welcome beautiful Sofia to the TNA family! So proud!, Dixie tweeted. This was part of the reason Kurt was kept off the weekend TNA live events in Poughkeepsie and Albany, New York. On behalf of all of us here on the website, congratulations to Kurt and Giovanna: Angle is also trying to heal from a torn groin he suffered at the Final Resolution PPV. Kurt recently said on Twitter that he would need “a few weeks” in order to heal up. Angle had initially stated he would work through the groin injury, but that has now changed.
